Counter Cloud Control

This is another one of my decks. It's a lot more important than that Spirit deck, as much fun as it is, because I actually have (most) of these cards in real life and can easily buy/trade what I need. It's just as fun to play and I consider it better, since I am more used to this style. As the name suggests, it's a mix of Cloudians and Counter Fairies. Time to get on with the deck!

Why do I combine Cloudians and Counter Fairies? Well, while both strategies are individually weaker, the benefits of combining them more than make up for it. Counter Fairies share a field spell with my Cloudians, The Sanctuary in the Sky. And the Counter Traps protect the Cloudians greatly. There are a couple ways, none of which are especially difficult, for me to control this duel with my deck. One good way is to get a Cloudian Squall or two up on the field and then summon my Cloudians, using their potent effects. Another way is to Special Summon Voltanis the Adjudicator and use its effect to wipe my opponent's field clean. If Turbulence can supply me with a lot of Smoke Balls, I can also use them to summon my stronger Fairies and abuse Athena's effect (same with Synthetic Seraphim). They would also help me once I bring out Voltanis. Updraft is in there as my final trap card because it can potentially end the duel with one stroke, provided enough Fog Counters are on the field. However, I am reluctant to add more than one as it is often a dead draw. Even if my opponent has, say, Jinzo or Royal Decree, it does not completely screw me over since I do have very good Monsters as well.
