Breaker the Magical Warrior

When this card is Normal Summoned, put 1 Spell Counter on it (max. 1). This card gains 300 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. You can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.
---A monster with solid attack and can easily destroy a magic or trap that could be troubling you.



Card Trooper
Attrib: Earth
Type: Machine/Effect
Level:3
Atk: 400
Def: 400
Once per turn, you can send up to 3 cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard. This card gains 500 ATK for each card sent to the Graveyard this way, until the end of this turn. When this card on your side of the field is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard, draw 1 card.
---This can get rid of cards easily, decent for decks that could take advantage of this affect.



Cyber Dragon
Attrib: Light
Type: Machine/Effect

Def: 1600
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.
---This can get you out of tough situations if your opponent is beating you down. You can also use it to immediately tribute.



Cyber Valley
Attrib: Light
Type: Machine/Effect

Atk: 0
Def: 0
• When this card is selected as an attack target by an opponent's monster you can remove this card from play to draw 1 card and end the Battle Phase.
• You can remove from play this card and 1 face-up monster you control and draw 2 cards.
• You can remove from play this card and 1 card from your hand, and place 1 card from your Graveyard on top of your Deck.
---The first affect is good for stall decks, and the third affect allows you to reuse a vital card again the next turn, which could come in handy.



D.D. Warrior Lady
Attrib: Light
Type: Warrior/Effect

When this card battles with your opponent's monster, after damage calculation you can remove from play the opponent's monster and this card.
---If someone's monster is giving you trouble, you'll be glad you have it attack this. Sometimes you must attack their monster yourself to get rid of it.



Dandylion
Attrib: Earth
Type: Plant/Effect

Def: 300
When this card is sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 2 "Fluff Tokens" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position. These tokens cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon during the turn they are Special Summoned.
---If your opponent destroy this monster by attacking it, that means you can tribute those tokens on you turn!



Evil Hero Malicious Edge
Attrib: Earth
Type: Fiend/Effect

If your opponent controls a monster, you can Normal Summon this card with 1 Tribute. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.
---A decent card and works great if you take advantage of the single tribute effect.



Gorz the Emissary of Darkness

Type: Fiend/Effect

When you take damage from a card your opponent controls while you control no cards, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Then activate the appropriate effect, based on the type of damage:
• Battle Damage: Special Summon 1 "Emissary of Darkness Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/Level 7/ATK ?/DEF ?). It's ATK and DEF are each equal to the amount of battle damage you took.
• Effect Damage: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the amount of damage you took.
---This card definitely can get you out of tough situations, just be sure not to have any magic or traps out that wont help you.



Guardian Sphinx
Attrib: Earth
Type: Rock/Effect

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can flip this card into face-down Defense Position. When this card is Flip Summoned, return all monsters on your opponent's side of the field to the owner's hand.
---If you manage to summon this card, it can be devastating. It can't be destroyed by the common cards of fissure, smashing ground, or lightning vortex if you have it face down. Each turn, you can flip it, attack, then flip it back down! HOW ANNOYING!



Jinzo
Attrib: Dark
Type: Machine/Effect

Def: 1500
Trap Cards cannot be activated. The effects of all face-up Trap Cards are negated.
---This is a classic card that everyone loves to use. It may seem foolish to include it because it negates your own traps as well, but if you have a scarce amount of traps in your deck, then it doesn't matter. So only your opponent has a very large handicap.



Kuraz the Light Monarch
Attrib: Light
Type: Warrior/Effect
Level:6
Atk: 2400
Def: 1000
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, you can destroy up to 2 cards on the field. For each card destroyed, that card's controller draws 1 card. This card cannot attack during the turn it was Normal or Special Summoned.
---Monarchs can be easily summoned with a stall card or 2. It's affect is terrific, you can destroy 2 cards your opponent is threatening you with and having them draw a card isn't that much of a drawback. If you need to draw a card, you can destroy one of your own cards as well.



Man-Eater Bug
Attrib: Earth
Type: Insect/Effect
Level:2
Atk: 450
Def: 600
FLIP: Destroy 1 monster on the field.



Marshmallon
Attrib: Light
Type: Fairy/Effect
Level:3
Atk: 300
Def: 500
The controller of a monster that attacks this face-down card takes 1000 damage after damage calculation. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. (Damage calculation is applied normally.)
---One of the most over used stalling monsters. Good thing there's only 1 allowed per deck.



Mask of Darkness
Attrib: Dark
Type: Fiend/Effect
Level:2
Atk: 900
Def: 400
FLIP: Select 1 Trap Card in your Graveyard. Add it to your hand.
---Effects like these are hard to come by. Mask of Darkness is one of the few well known monsters to reborn trap cards in an easy way.



Mecha Bunny
Attrib: Earth
Type: Machine/Effect
Level:2
Atk: 800
Def: 100
When this card is flipped face-up, select 1 card on the field and inflict 500 damage to its controller. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Mecha Bunny" from your Deck in face-down Defense Position.
---Pretty good stall card for burn decks, and works good early game because you don't have to worry about it dying, you can always special summon more and tribute them!



Mobius the Frost Monarch
Attrib: Water
Type: Aqua/Effect
Level:6
Atk: 2400
Def: 1000
When this card is Tribute Summoned, you can destroy up to 2 Spell or Trap Cards on the field.
---Another decently powerful, single tribute card with a good effect.



Morphing Jar
Attrib: Earth
Type: Rock/Effect
Level:2
Atk: 700
Def: 600
FLIP: Both players discard all cards in their hands. Then both players draw 5 cards.
---This card may seem foolish, but there are good ways to use this card. You can use this card to refresh your hand when you have a bad one at the moment, or even no hand at all. Or maybe there are monsters in your hand that would benefit going to the graveyard. Who cares what your opponent has in their hand, but refreshing their hand may be a bad idea.



Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
Attrib: Earth
Type: Rock/Effect
Level:3
Atk: 900
Def: 300
If this card attacks or is attacked by an opponent's monster, you can return both monsters to their owners' hands at the start of the Damage Step (without damage calculation).
---One of the most annoying cards ever. The only downside you must be cautions about is that you must normal summon it, and can cause both you and your opponent to build up your hands.



Nimble Momonga
Attrib: Earth
Type: Beast/Effect
Level:2
Atk: 1000
Def: 100
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, gain 1000 Life Points. You can also Special Summon up to 2 "Nimble Momongas" from your Deck in face-down Defense Position.
---Very good stall card and you can also tribute those other Nimble Momongas if they don't die.



Penguin Soldier
Attrib: Water
Type: Aqua/Effect
Level:2
Atk: 750
Def: 500
Flip:Return up to 2 monsters on the Field to their owner's hands.
---It's affect can apply to itself, so you can continually use his affect as long as it doesn't get destroyed.



Phantom of Chaos
Attrib: Dark
Type: Fiend/Effect
Level:4
Atk: 0
Def: 0
Any Battle Damage this monster inflicts to your opponent becomes 0. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Effect Monster in your Graveyard. Until the End Phase, this card's name is treated as that monster's name, and it gains that monster's effect(s) and ATK.
---This card can emulate monsters with cheap affects and powerful attack without actually summoning them, such as Wicked Dreadroot or Wicked Avatar.



Plaguespreader Zombie
Attrib: Dark
Type: Zombie/Tuner/Effect
Level:2
Atk: 400
Def: 200
You can return 1 card from your hand to the top of the Deck to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. If you do, remove this card from play when it is removed from the field.
---A very good tuner, especially for zombie ones. Works good with Armageddon Knight.



Raiza the Storm Monarch
Attrib: Wind
Type: Winged Beast/Effect
Level:6
Atk: 2400
Def: 1000
When this card is Tribute Summoned, return 1 card on the field to the top of its owner's Deck.
---If you successfully activate this affect, you can absolutely devastate your opponent by sending high level monsters to the top of their deck. That means on their next turn, they must draw it and may be unable to summon the monster. That's like.. skipping a turn and getting rid of a high level monster at once!



Sangan
Attrib: Dark
Type: Fiend/Effect
Level:3
Atk: 1000
Def: 600
When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, add 1 monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand.
---This can help you get those weak stall monsters, such as marshmallon or spirit reaper, or maybe even get you one step closer to Exodia!



Slate Warrior
Attrib: Wind
Type: Fiend/Effect
Level:4
Atk: 1900
Def: 400
FLIP: Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 500 points. The ATK and DEF of a monster that destroys this card as a result of battle is decreased by 500 points.
---Has decent attack and can ruin an opponent's monster that destroys this card. It's flip affect is hard to use activate due to it's low defense.



Snipe Hunter
Attrib: Dark
Type: Fiend/Effect
Level:4
Atk: 1500
Def: 600
You can discard 1 card to select 1 card on the field and roll a six-sided die. If the result is not 1 or 6, destroy the selected card.
---A 2/3 chance of destroying any card you want. Those are good chances
to me.



Spirit Reaper
Attrib: Dark
Type: Zombie/Effect
Level:3
Atk: 300
Def: 200
This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Destroy this card when it is targeted by the effect of a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster. If this card successfully attacks directly, your opponent randomly discards 1 card.
---A stall card that destroys your opponent's hand when vulnerable. The only problem is, Spirit reaper dies when he is selected, which makes it a bit easier to kill than other stall monsters.



Treeborn Frog
Attrib: Water
Type: Aqua/Effect
Level:1
Atk: 100
Def: 100
If this card is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase and you control no Spell or Trap Cards, you can Special Summon it. This effect cannot be activated if you control a face-up "Treeborn Frog".
---This card makes great tribute fodder, or maybe to stall a single attack from your opponent multiple times.



Zaborg the Thunder Monarch
Attrib: Light
Type: Thunder/Effect
Level:5
Atk: 2400
Def: 1000
When this card is Tribute Summoned, destroy 1 monster on the field.
---Decent attack, single tribute, and good affect. Try not to summon this card alone, because it is forced to destroy 1 monster, which could be itself or one of your own monsters.

I think the only real staples are sangan, and maybe Gorz, but there aren't 400 staples el oh el.

I sorta tried to get more than just the very few actually used in all the decks. Maybe I'll cut a few out or something later :/
