A Feather of the Phoenix
Type: Normal
Discard 1 card. Select 1 card from your Graveyard and return it to the top of your Deck.
---This could really come in handy. You could have a counter card in the grave that you want to use next turn, then you'll be glad you have this card. It also works as an emergency for Exodia in case someone discards a piece from your hand.



Book of Moon
Type: Quick-Play
Flip 1 face-up monster on the field into face-down Defense Position.
---Some of the popular 'destroy monster' cards only work if the monster is face up. So if you flip it down, then the monster won't die! You can use this card offensively as well as defensively. Some monsters may have very high attack, but a very weak defense. Such as Cyber Dragon, the monarchs, and Jinzo. Also, since it is a quick play, you can prevent one monster from attacking.



Brain Control
Type: Normal
Pay 800 Life Points. Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Take control of it until the End Phase.
---This is mainly used to steal effects that would benefit you, and to tribute your opponent's monster. That's more than worth losing 800 Life points.



Burden of the Mighty
Type: Continuous
Each face-up monster your opponent controls loses 100 ATK x its own level.
---This is actually a pretty decent card. The attack loss is pretty significant to both high level and low level monsters. This should definitely go to any offensive deck.



Card Destruction
Type: Normal
You and your opponent discard your entire hands and draw the same number of cards from your respective Decks that you discarded.
---This could help you refresh your hand if you currently have a bad one, while at the same time, screwing up your opponent's hand.



Double Summon
Type: Normal
You can Normal Summon 1 additional time this turn. You can only gain this effect once per turn.
---You can use this to help you tribute summon a monster like the monarchs.



Enemy Controller
Type: Quick Play
Select and activate 1 of these effects:
• Change the battle position of 1 face-up monster on your opponent controls.
• Tribute 1 monster. Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Take control of it until the End Phase.
---A bit similar to the book of moon with it's usability to be offensive or defensive, but the second affect is a good way to tribute your opponent's monster, like the annoying ones such as marshmallon or spirit reaper.



Fissure
Type: Normal
Destroy 1 face-up monster with the lowest ATK on your opponent's side of the field. (If it's a tie, you get to choose.)
---Usually used when the opponent has a single, but strong monster on the field, but also works to destroy the annoying cards that have low attack.



Foolish Burial
Type: Normal
Select 1 monster from your Deck and send it to the Graveyard.
---Some monsters benefit from being in the graveyard, like dark monsters. But this card also works good with reborning cards like Call of the haunted to easily bring out a monster of your choice.



Future Fusion
Type: Continuous
Send, from your Deck to the Graveyard, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Fusion Monster Card, and select that 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. Special Summon a Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck with the same name as the selected Fusion Monster, during your 2nd Standby Phase after this card's activation. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) When this card is removed from the field, destroy the monster. When the monster is destroyed, destroy this card.
---Bring out any fusion you want and easily too, but definitely needs some backup in case someone tries to destroy it. Usually used with Five Headed Dragon and Cymeratech Overdragon.



Giant Trunade
Type: Normal
Return all Spell and Trap Cards on the field to the respective owners' hands.
---A must-have for offensive decks. Using this means you don't have to worry about traps countering your attacks. Also works good with Swords of Revealing Light, You can bring it back to your hand, and use it again, refreshed!



Gold Sarcophagus
Type: Normal
Select and remove from play 1 card in your Deck. During your second Standby Phase after this card’s activation, add the removed card to your hand.
---Bring out any card you want, usually used with Exodia cards and Future Fusion.



Heavy Storm
Type: Normal
Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field.
---Use it when you have no magic cards and your opponent has a few.



Lightning Vortex
Type: Normal
Discard 1 card. Destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls.
---This can save you from getting beat-downed by offensive decks, but be cautious as it only affects monsters that are face up.



Mage Power
Type: Equip
The equipped monster gains 500 ATK and DEF for each Spell and Trap Card you control.
---One of the best equip cards you can find. The effect applies to set magic/trap cards so you can get an easy 2000 attack boost. (It isn't wise to just fill up your magic/trap zone willy-nilly)



Magical Mallet
Type: Normal
Add any number of cards from your hand to the Deck and shuffle it. Then draw the same number of cards you added to the Deck.
---This is good to refresh your hand, while keeping the cards you need.



Megamorph
Type: Equip
While your Life Points are lower than your opponent's, double the original ATK of a monster equipped with this card. While your Life Points are higher, halve the original ATK.
---Doubling your attack is quite ridiculous, but it gets you out of getting beat down by an extremely powerful monster. Loosing half your attack can be solved by tributing the monster, or switching it to defense position to prevent life point loss.



Monster Reincarnation
Type: Normal
Discard 1 card. Add 1 Monster Card from your Graveyard to your hand.
---Use this to get back a stalling monster that was previously destroyed, or other monsters you see fit.



Mystical Space Typhoon
Type: Quick Play
Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.
---This card is used pretty much in every deck out there. You could risk it to destroy face down cards, but it is better to save it up to get rid of a stall card or equip cards. Sadly, only 1 per deck :(



Nobleman of Crossout
Type: Normal
Destroy 1 face-down monster and remove it from play. If the monster is a Flip Effect Monster, both players must check their respective Decks and remove all monsters of the same name from play. Then shuffle the Decks.
---Use this card to get rid of annoying flip affect monsters, or stall monsters which are usually set face down at first.



Pot of Avarice
Type: Normal
Select 5 Monster Cards from your Graveyard, then add them to your Deck and shuffle it. After that, draw 2 cards from your Deck.
---Good for reusing stallers or monarchs. The rules say it must be 5 in your graveyard, no less.



Scapegoat
Type: Quick Play
If you activate this card, you cannot Normal Summon, Flip Summon or Special Summon during this turn. Special Summon 4 "Sheep Tokens" (Beast-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position to your side of the field. The "Sheep Tokens" cannot be used as a Tribute for a Tribute Summon (or Set).
---A good stall card. Be sure to use it during your opponent's turn so you are able to summon on your turn afterwords.



Shrink
Type: Quick Play
Select 1 face-up monster on the field. The original ATK of that monster is halved until the end of this turn.
---Another card that can be used both defensively or offensively. You can Easily destroy powerful monsters, or wait for your opponent to attack to activate this card. They must continue the attack, even with half the attack points.



Smashing Ground
Type: Normal
Destroy the 1 face-up monster your opponent controls that has the highest DEF. (If it's a tie, you get to choose.)
---Very similar to fissure, but some high attack monsters have an unusually low defense.



Soul Exchange
Type: Normal
Select 1 monster your opponent controls. This turn, if you would Tribute a monster you control. Tribute the selected monster instead. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn that you activate this card.
---It's worth it to get rid of your opponent's monster for a tribute summon.



Soul Taker
Type: Normal
Destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Then, your opponent gains 1000 Life Points.
---1000 life points is quite worth it to destroy strong monsters or those with devastating effects.



Stray Lambs
Type: Normal
If you activate this card, you cannot Normal Summon, Flip Summon or Special Summon during this turn. Special Summon 2 "Lamb Tokens" (Beast-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position.
---If you are able to stall for just one turn, you could use these tokens for a tribute summon.



Swords of Revealing Light
Type: Normal
Flip all monsters on your opponent controls face-up. This card remains on the field for 3 of your opponent's turns. While this card is face-up on the field, monsters your opponent controls cannot declare an attack.
---A good ol' stall card, usually used to build up your hands. Pairs nicely with giant trunade as the effect is reset so you can stall for more turns.



Twister
Type: Quick Play
Pay 500 Life Points. Destroy 1 face-up Spell or Trap card.
---This is a substitute to Mystical Space Typhoon if you ever need any more cards. 500 Life points is a fair amount.




United We Stand
Type: Equip
Increase the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster by 800 points for each face-up monster you control.
---One of the best equip cards. This can turn weak monsters into beat-downers and can make stall monsters do MUCH more than stall! Use scapegoat for a quick super boost of attack, THAT'S 3200 ATTACK!!!
