The Worst and the Best Pokemon Genaration

My Opinion:

Worst:4º

Best:1º and 2º

Second FTW!

Third is the worst...

I have to agree with OkamiXami. Hoenn would have been amazing if it wasn't for those horrific water routes!

Best 3rd, worst 1st

I'v always liked hoenn. I liked how big the map felt and how big the region is. I also happen to like water routes. el oh el

I cannot physically fathom how it's possible to like the water routes.
They were just so long and expansive that I wanted to cry.

I'm so glad that they didn't put those horrific routes in Sinnoh.

Too tough of a choice.

As far as simple, handheld, just GBA continuation games.
I say 3rd is best because Ruby and Emerald were super fun, and FR/LG was amazing as a re-do.
I think 2nd was the worst... even though the Stadium games were fun, GSC was just lacking.

second for the win i loved the surprise of going back to kanto after beating the elite four and in the end you fight an epic battle wiht red! cant wait for soul silver!

worst probably 3rd because too much water...not enough stuff to do there i mean i give it props cause of fire red and emeralds battlefrontier and the return of moving pokemon sprites...but eh

My favourite is defo the 1st gen because it was the first one I ever played on and your rival was just cool.
Worst defo the 3rd gen because there is too much surfing going on the E4 is easy and you don't really have a rival

The fourth for me is the best, I mean, it is the most recent. Third generation would be the worst, not that it's bad, but the 1st and 2nd generation hold a special place in my heart.

The best - 2nd. It was, is and will be the best generation.
I like all generations so i don't think there is a worst generation.

first and seconf gen are the best 3rd was ok

I like Hoenn best worst,i dun hate any,but i guess it would be Kanto, Hoenn's Epic

I liked 2nd generation, but I also hated it, After u beat the elite four and started fighting the kanto gyms, it was REALLY easy and in my opinion even more boring than random grass battles.

2nd Generation was better than the first in every way which is a stunning achievement considering how amazing the first generation is. Third is not necessarily the worst generation but definitely the most disappointing. It did not live up to the hype brought on by Gold/Silver/Crystal.

Best for me is a tie between Kanto and Hoenn. Kanto because there were so many great pokemon to choose from, the gyms were always a challenge (depending on which pokes I used, but still), rival was awesome, and just all around enjoyable. Hoenn's awesome because it's HUGE, had two different teams with two different goals which is very cool, great gym battles that were challenging always (F*CK YOU BRAWLY!), and I absolutely love the pokemon.

Now for worst. Everybody's gonna hate me for this but...Johto. There I said it. Now, when I look at it, it's okay, but what I really hate about it are the majority of its pokemon. It's got some cool pokes, don't get me wrong, in fact my favorite poke is from the region (Typhlosion), but it just has so many sucky pokemon, such as: all its bug types except Heracross, all of its grass types except Chikorita, Unown, Dunsparce, Slugma, Delibird, Smoochum and a bunch of others that I don't like. THIS IS JUST MY OPPINION, don't flame me.

So yeah. Sinnoh's just a good region, but doesn't compare to Hoenn or Kanto.

The 4th is definately the worst IN GAME.
The metagame is seriously amazing, if I didn't have wifi, I'd probably have quit pokes by now.

The best has to be 2nd gen, I know, fanboy fanboy and all that. But in all seriousness, I loved it. The music, the extended game, the legendaries. If you deleted the Rocket Hideout and the Radio Tower, it'd be even better, but meh, every game has it's downfalls.

i say:
*1st is the best because it was actually a challenge and the pokemon were good :D
*2nd would be best since it still had good pokemon, but the gym leaders were WAY too easy! i beat red with 5 pokemons level 56!
*3rd, WATER...ROUTES...ARE EVIL!!!!
*4th the pokemon were lame IMO (lets make another turtle starter, but make it grass type!)

BEst- 2nd was my favorite because it was just epic.

Worst- 3rd because of how much money you needed to throw away on reples to get through the Dull water routes. so many tentacool and winguls.

no brainer shinnoh was the worst but kanto and johto where great hoenn would have been good if it wrent for the water!

diamond and pearl was the worst game, crystal was the best

I like 4th gen better cause there's a lot of new stuff
I hate 3rd gen cause there is too much water routes and sometimes the wild pokemon level are too low for training...

geez, i really liked the hoenn games, but frlg werent that great in my opinion. id have to go with second gen being the best, and 4th being the worst. i dont think 4th gen was bad, i just think that it was not as good as the other 3.

id say 2nd gen was the best

The games get worse with each generation

Johto is the best
Sinnoh was good especially in Platinum
Kanto is "yeah"
And Hoenn just agitated me to no extent.(engrish fail)

1st & 2nd Gen was the best.
The 3rd wasnt.
The 4th is actually good, but not as good as the original.
