| I've picked up the most wins with this team and want a couple opinions.
Lead: Prankster the Gengar (Focus Sash) Timid Nature, Levitate 6 Def, 252 SpA, 252 Spe -Hypnosis -Substitute -Focus Blast -Shadow Ball
EpitomeOfOU the Scizor (Leftovers) Adamant Nature, Technician 215 Atk, 20 Def, 252 Spe, 23 SpD -Swords Dance -Bullet Punch -X-Scissor -U-Turn
Illumination the Lanturn (Leftovers) Lonely Nature, Volt Absorb 230 Def, 50 SpA, 230 SpD -Confuse Ray -Thunder Wave -Surf -Thunder
NoRojo4Me the Gyarados (Life Orb) Hardy Nature, Intimidate 252 Atk, 6 Def, 252 Spe -Dragon Dance -Earthquake -Ice Fang -Waterfall
Hulk the Machamp (Leftovers) Adamant Nature, No Guard 252 HP, 128 Atk, 128 Spe -Dynamicpunch -Bulk Up -Stone Edge -Thunderpunch
SCROOOOOOW the Aerodactyl (Leftovers) Adamant Nature, Rock Head 230 Atk, 65 Def, 150 Spe, 65 SpD -Stone Edge -Earthquake -Double Edge -Aerial Ace
Long time to type out. Please leave any comments/opinions/changes you may have. I know it's not perfect.

Hypnosis has bad accuracy so I would advise against having it on a lead. 2. Given who the most common leads are Gengar is a bad idea for a lead in general. 3. Substitute + Focus Sash is counter productive since Focus Sash only works from full HP and Sub can't be made at 1 HP
Bad lead. Azelf would be better.
EpitomeOfOU the Scizor (Leftovers) Adamant Nature, Technician 215 Atk, 20 Def, 252 Spe, 23 SpD -Swords Dance -Bullet Punch -X-Scissor -U-Turn
Bad set for a great poke...Scizor likes this set:
Scizor @ Life Orb Technician Adamant Nature [+Attack, -Special Attack] 252 HP | 252 Atk | 6 SpDef
- Swords Dance
- Bug Bite (Bug Bite is stronger than X-Scissor with Technician and U-Turn is not only repeat coverage but bad since you lose your SD bosts)
- Bullet Punch
- Quick Attack
Illumination the Lanturn (Leftovers) Lonely Nature, Volt Absorb 230 Def, 50 SpA, 230 SpD -Confuse Ray -Thunder Wave -Surf -Thunder
Lanturn is mediocre at best in OU. It has a niche, but you don't need it. Remove it, IMO
NoRojo4Me the Gyarados (Life Orb) Hardy Nature, Intimidate 252 Atk, 6 Def, 252 Spe -Dragon Dance -Earthquake -Ice Fang -Waterfall
Gyarados wants a Jolly Nature and Stone Edge > Ice Fang. You can also make better use of the EVs with a simply 252 Atk | 88 Def | 168 Spe spread which lets him outspeed Jolteon after a DD and take plenty of Scizor's Bullet Punches.
Hulk the Machamp (Leftovers) Adamant Nature, No Guard 252 HP, 128 Atk, 128 Spe -Dynamicpunch -Bulk Up -Stone Edge -Thunderpunch
Bad EVs and you don't need Thunderpunch with Stone Edge since they have similar coverage.
Machamp @ Leftovers No Guard Adamant Nature [+Attack, -Special Attack] 252 HP | 248 Atk | 8 Spe
- Dynamic Punch
- Payback
- Stone Edge/Rest
- Rest/Sleeptalk/Ice Punch/Thunderpunch
That would be a better set, especially since Rotom is so common these days.
SCROOOOOOW the Aerodactyl (Leftovers) Adamant Nature, Rock Head 230 Atk, 65 Def, 150 Spe, 65 SpD -Stone Edge -Earthquake -Double Edge -Aerial Ace
Bad outside of the lead spot, and even worse with Leftovers. Scrap
Long time to type out. Please leave any comments/opinions/changes you may have. I know it's not perfect. I would rebuild the team to be honest. Just my opinion, but there are certain pokes here that do work well together, but the rest of the team brings them down.

| The sash is there on Gengar because of the reason of so many lead Azelfs that try to get quick kills. It doesn't always HAVE to sub and attack.
On Scizor, Bug Bite works better. Thanks. But Bullet Punch AND Quick Attack don't seem both necessary. I prefer U-turn in case of getting stuck and I need to switch out. Why not a little damage too?
I have had no problems with Lanturn much. I like it.
On Gyarados, the nature change seems good I suppose. -I have tried Stone Edge but it doesn't always work out best for me so I have Ice Fang now.
For Machamp, D-punch, T-punch, and Bulk up are fine. Machamps seem fragile to be complete rest-talkers as odd as it sounds. Payback sounds great though.
Aerodactyl isn't amazing. Just good for some speedy damage or a revenge kill.
Overall I think some things you suggested are a little too overthinking, while a few are actually improvements I feel dumb for not realizing.

But you still lose to a bunch of other leads. Plus Azelf outspeeds and beats Gengar so there's no point. Gengar is a shite lead. On Scizor, Bug Bite works better. Thanks. But Bullet Punch AND Quick Attack don't seem both necessary. I prefer U-turn in case of getting stuck and I need to switch out. Why not a little damage too? Quick Attack lets Scizor beat Gyarados and Zapdos that don't carry Heat Wave. That's a big deal as they're Scizor's biggest counters. I have had no problems with Lanturn much. I like it.
On Gyarados, the nature change seems good I suppose. -I have tried Stone Edge but it doesn't always work out best for me so I have Ice Fang now. Lanturn is bad in OU since the most common move from nearly any Poke will OHKO it. Jolteon would be better here, hell even E-vire would. For Machamp, D-punch, T-punch, and Bulk up are fine. Machamps seem fragile to be complete rest-talkers as odd as it sounds. Payback sounds great though. Machamp's one of the best RestTalkers there is. I HATE the RstTalk strategy, but Machamp is one of the few Pokes I think can pull it off, another being Suicune. Aerodactyl isn't amazing. Just good for some speedy damage or a revenge kill.
Overall I think some things you suggested are a little too overthinking, while a few are actually improvements I feel dumb for not realizing. No, they're not. I'm suggesting it based on the actual competitive metagame. None of the changes I suggested are unecessary. I could list off a bunch of threats that could beat this team as it is easily...

| I suppose Azelf is good option. But I am not lying, in the 3 cases I remember, the Gengar beat out 2 Azelfs. For setting up though, yes Azelf is better, and for speed. Gengar works as a lead-counter though.
Quick attack I still am not sure about. It seems smart, as for a strategy of heavy damage and not trying to counter with a different Poke. I'll keep it considered over U-Turn.
I'm not sure you know too much about the Lanturn. It really isn't that bad. With high spread defensive EV's it can last nearly any attack, minus DD or STAB EQ's. It can counter nearly any one opponent. Esp. Skarms or against Stallers.
I tested out the Rest-talker earlier to see. In some cases, it was really good and swept with luck. Unfortunately, the Dark and Fighting options it could've done worked against me too at times, like against a certain Dusknoir. Yikes. I feel it would work out better in WiFi battles and not Shoddy as much.
