| Any major Zelda fan has probably seen the trailer on youtube or somewhere at least. One thing I've noticed is that the game is getting a lot of criticism because it has a train. I don't think it's really a big deal that it has a train, it's not like the entire game is gonna be done entirely on the train, their will still still be all the exploring, dungeons, and features from other Zelda games. Anyway my question is......
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks... Love it Hate it Don't know
Personally I'm excited about it and I've already pre-ordered it at my local Gamestop.

| Leaning towards hating it. I just like the classic zelda games where you go through dungeons. | |

| Hmm... I prefer being able to run around Hyrule Field, not sail boats or ride trains. It's the travel gimmicks I don't like in Zelda. But, Phantom Hourglass still had some solid dungeon stuff, if a little easy. I'll most likely be getting Spirit Tracks though. | |

| I'm a HUGE fan of Zelda games however I have to say that good Zelda games give you a lot of free reign. I feel as though Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Link to the Past, and a few others gave you some free reign but I just don't see this one giving you that freedom. It just looks too tight to the story for that. | |

| Yeah I see not much free roam is you are on train tracks all the time :( That's one of the fun parts of Zelda. Freely roaming and collecting stuff like hidden heart pieces. | |

I'm pretty sure this game will have that. Too many people see the train and think that's it. Trust me if it was only running around on a train tooting your horn at things, I would think it would suck too, but it's not, that is just one of the methods of covering a large distance in a relatively short time. The dungeons, the exploration, the story, the combat, the puzzles, everything will be their. They just decided to mix things up a bit by adding a new gameplay mechanic that's all. Why? So that way it could stand out against other Zelda titles as something different cause no one likes paying $30 to play the same game over and over again. I'm pretty sure Zelda fans who can see past the train and genuinely see a brand new gaming experience will no doubt be at least moderately satisfied.

| I do see promise with the new idea of a train involved however I suppose we'll all just have to wait and see until the actual game comes out to judge things like free-roam, seeing as how we've never seen gameplay (other than in the trailer) or actually played it before. | |

They've had telephones, gunpowder, electricity, and color camera's.........I really don't think a train will modernize it......it's a simple steam/coal train not a monorail what's wrong with that?

Yeah, modernized Zelda would ROCK! To heck with horses and trains, Link rides a MOTORCYCLE!! Also, one of the items you get are Sunglasses that give you the ability to see invisible objects! (gotta have some item with that effect) And instead of a bow, you get an assault-bow. It can be set to automatic, or burst shot! Also, link has a manly beard and a jet pack.
