SS crash patch?

okay, i tried searching the forums and all but i cant seem to find an answer to my question.

i was running soul silver on no$ and after a little while of playing i saved, loaded the game again, and like many others it did not save my game. i also have desmume and i want to know if there are any patches to atleast reduce the number of crashes.

and a trustworthy location to download a new ROM because i know that is what the saving problem originated from.

Somewhat unrelated: i need a link to download the desmume 0.9.4 because i have the point five and its slow.

Any help would be appreciated so much ive been waiting so long to play these games. :D

Have you tried romulation.net???? They are pretty safe.

yes but as of now they onl have the japanese and korean versions

Um...Google English Patch and keep trying different ones until you find the one that works. :)
