| Ok, now I was never exactly the perfect team maker, but a few of the recent ones on here have really sucked and caused me to lose the will to live, so I decided to put up the team I like to use in order to try and curb the fail. It has been the main one I used when I actually playyed Shoddy, and got me past stage 1 of the SOS tourney, when it was still alive. I no longer play shoddy, so you guys can use this team if you so wish.
Bronzong:
Item - Leftovers Ability - Levitate Nature - Sassy Evs: HP - 60, Attack - 150, Defence - 100, Special Defence - 200.
Attacks:
Earthquake Explosion Gyro Ball Stealth Rock
Now quite a few of you may be wondering why I use a Bronzong, and not a Metagross. Well the reason is mainly due to zong having levitate as an ability. Ground moves will not hit Zong, so people go into fire types and hit me with that. From there I really have 3 options. I can switch out into Heatran, where Flash Fire can give me the advantage, Gyarados, where the attack will not be effective, and will give me an oppertunity to pull off a Dragon Dance, or depending on the situation, I could use Earthquake to weaken the opponent. In most cases, I should get the chance to set up Stealth Rock. Gyro Ball can easily handle Aerodactyl leads and nothing says "Hahaha!" like Exploding on a setter upper or staller! The 2 main things that can cause problems are firstly Trick leads, giving Zong a choice scarf something like that. In this case you should have already set up rocks, so switch out and use it later on to explode on something. The other problem is Infernape. Most of these nowerdays carry HP Electric, so it's risky if I send out Gyra. Fighting moves can also cause a few problems for Heatran. What I suggest you do is either to set up rocks and use Earthquake/Explosion if you can, or just explode. If Ape is at 1HP and Zong dies, go into Lucario and Extremespeed away!
Breloom:
Item - Toxic Orb Ability - Poison Heal Nature - Adamant Evs: HP - 48, Attack - 252, Speed - 208
Attacks:
Focus Punch Seed Bomb Spore Substitute
You may hate him, but I love him! Breloom has the potential to rape an entire team if deployed correctly. It's a classic set, just Spore and sub away, then attack. Do not switch into anything that can kill Loom, and if you can switch into a staller that is about to heal up (Like Blissey) then you are Golden! Just watch out moves like Thunder Wave being used on the switch, because nothing says "NOOOOOO!" like a Paralysed Loom not being able to use Poison heal.
Salamence:
Item - Life Orb Ability - Intimidate Nature - Rash Evs: HP - 80, Special Attack - 252, Speed - 176
Attacks:
Brick Break Draco Meteor Roost Flamethrower
Use to clear up the enemy team, what else do you expect a Salamence to do? Watch out for stallers that make Life Orb no fun to use. Use Roost if you have to.
Gyarados:
Item - Leftovers Ability - Intimidate Nature - Adamant Evs: Attack - 252, Defence - 4, Speed, 252
Attacks:
Dragon Dance Earthquake Stone Edge Waterfall
Oh yeah! If you can set up a DDance or two, your opponent has a problem! Set up enough and you will have won! Just bear in mind the accuracy of Stone Edge, since it's annoying if it misses. Also watch out for speedy Electric types that come it. Some of the faster ones (Jolteon for example) are faster than Gyra despite a DDance. If you have more than 1 DDance set up, use Earthquake on 'em!
Lucario:
Item - Choice Band Ability - Inner Focus Nature - Adamant Evs: HP - 10, Attack - 250, Defence - 50, Speed, 150, Special Defence - 50.
Attacks:
Extremespeed Close Combat Crunch Ice Punch
Mainly use for revenge killing. Using it earlier on is more preferable than later.
Heatran:
Item - Leftovers Ability - Flash Fire Nature - Modest Evs: HP - 50, Attack - 20, Defence - 20, Speed, 200, Special Attack - 200, Special Defence - 20.
Attacks:
Explosion Fire Blast Hidden Power Ice Earth Power
Fairly standard Heatran, packs HP Ice to rape Ground and Dragon types. Switch in to a Fire attack (Using Zong as bait for it) and this thing is ready to go! Also packs Explosion so it can go out with a bang!
Now I know there are alot better teams than this, but this one made battling fun for me. If there are any kids who aren't that good at battling, feel free to use this team. Anyone else I am sure has the power to modify this team for their own needs.

| I question why most of your movesets look like they come straight from hell. xD Why does Lucario have all of those Ev's in Defense and Special Defense? They really server no help. All moves used on Lucario will still kill him. Just max out Attack and Speed and waste the 4 others on whatever. Smogon sets are standard for a reason. I really think you should look at them.
Again, Heatran's set is definitely screwed up. Give him max Special Attack and Speed and give him either a Life Orb or an Expert Belt and have the moveset of: Flamethrower/Fire Blast, HP Grass, Earth Power, and Explosion. Naive is a good nature for this one. Alternatively, you could use Shuca Berry, too.
Breloom gets Toxic Orb, not Poison Barb.
You might actually want to use the New MixMence set. It's by far better than the Classic MixMence set you're using, in today's metagame. The main selling point for this is basically the maxed out Speed. Good team and good luck.
Hope I helped. | |

Hope I helped. That is probably the reason why I don't play anymore xD Besides I got myself a new team after this, this was just my first casual play one ;D | |
