| I LOVE reading. Nothing, NOTHING beats a well written story. Movies based on books = fail. I find books more entertaining than films anyway. Often I get bored on the interwebs and just pick up a book. I love loads of stuff, but something I think will always stick out is the Noughts and Crosses series. | |

| I agree with you that most movies based on books are horrible but that's not true for all of them. Pretty much all of the Shakespearian novels were made much better by the films IMO. They made them easier to understand and sort of animated the otherwise dull characters with their olde englishe. | |

Yes. But books can always have that depth that movies never can.

| I tried reading Twilight. I really did. I don't know how I stopped myself from suicide.
I love books. Artemis Fowl (yesyesyesyes) series is the only fiction book series I really like and have read (haven't read HP or LotR). Most of my books are information.
I like movies more, though. I think there are some things you just can't explain on the page.

| I read on occasion, but I have to be consistent with the book. If I take a break from it I lose all interest all together. | |

| If you guys enjoyed the Inheritance Cycle, as one of you chaps mentioned earlier then I would recommend any books by David Gemmel, who is a pretty good Brit author. The Wheel of Time series is pretty good as well, I'm mad about fantasy.... | |
