| Introduction:------------------------------------------------------------------ So I decided I wanted to make a team with either CB Swampert or SD Sceptile. I asked some people and decided on CB Pert because of it's greater use in general battle. That's literally where this team started from. Boredom and wanting to use CBPert. at the same time, I've been liking the Ofeensive scene quite a bit lately and liked how my current main OU team performs by using guys that hit everything hard and by removing/crippling any major walling threats, allowing nearly any one of my guys to come in and sweep at the finish. I decided to go with a similar strategy here. I also wnated my pokes to be in pairs that covered each other's weaknesses well, thus giving me the ability to counter threats to any one Poke's sweep with another in the team, not with the entire team. This team came from that thought process. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Team at a Glance:------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Opinions/Summary: ------------------------------------------------------------------ I've put them into their pairs here, the first two together, the second two together, and the third two together. ------------------------------------------------------------------ In-depth look:------------------------------------------------------------------ Heatran @ Shuca Berry Ability: Flash Fire Nature: Naive (+Spd, -SpDef) EVs: 6 Atk | 252 SpAtk | 252 Spd
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
....................... Comments/Analysis:
Great lead. Gets up Rocks, kills their lead, and Explodes to beat a counter that may come in for it. Almost always gets me a KO and a lot of times 2 KOs per match. Pairs up with Flygon (works better with D-nite or Mence typing wise, but I really don't want to use them for the sake of not being too similar to a friend's team).
Weak: + + Resistant: + + + + + + + + + Immune: + ----------------- Flygon @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpAtk) EVs: 252 Atk| 6 Def | 252 Spd
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
....................... Comments/Analysis:
This guy is my revenge killer. He pairs well with Heatran, being immune to one of his weaknesses and taking the others Neutrally, while Heatran resists both of his. Stone Edge deals with Gyarados and Mence, Outrage is for Late Game or if I'm about to lose Flygon and want to deal as much Damage as possible. Earthquake is my main STAB move, and U-Turn is an invaluable move for Choice users to help with Prediction. These two, Tran and Flygon, were the final additions and the weakest links on the team. I will take any suggested replacements for them.
Weak: + Resistant: + Immune: + ----------------- Jolteon @ Life Orb Ability: Volt Absorb Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk) EVs: 252 SpAtk | 6 SpDef | 252 Spd
- Charge Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Grass]
....................... Comments/Analysis:
Jolteon works well with Gyara, absorbing Electric move intended for the Jumbo Shrimp and firing back a Charge Beam to enhance it's own offense while weakening the enemy. Hidden Power [Grass] is mainly for Pert, but works on all other Ground types as well, and Shadow Ball for neutrality and Grass types. Only Magnezone resists every one of these moves in OU. Amazing sweeper right here.
Weak: Resistant: + Immune: ----------------- Gyarados @ Leftovers Ability: Intimidate Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -SpAtk) EVs: 252 Atk | 6 Def | 252 Spd
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
....................... Comments/Analysis:
Standard DD Gyara. This Giant Shrimp's immunity to Ground moves that target Jolteon help it out tremendously, and Flygon can swap into Rock moves intended for Gyara here. Set up and sweep. Likely the most straightforward of all of my guys.
Weak: + Resistant: + + + + Immune: ----------------- Scizor @ Life Orb Ability: Technician Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpAtk) EVs: 32 HP | 252 Atk | 226 Spd
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Quick Attack
- Brick Break
....................... Comments/Analysis:
Dual Priority SD Scizor. I'm considering changing Quick Attack to X-Scissor, for a secondary STAB move and to hit Latias better. Thoughts? Works with my Swampert. Pert punches holes, Scizor finishes them off.
Weak: Resistant: + + + + + + + Immune: ----------------- Swampert @ Choice Band Ability: Torrent Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpAtk) EVs: 104 HP | 204 Atk | 100 Def | 100 Spd
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
....................... Comments/Analysis:
CB Tank. Coverage is the name of the game here. This guy take Fire moves intended for Scizor if Heatran is no where to be found, and Scizor takes Perts Grass attacks. Ice Punch > Avalanche to deal more to the swap in Poke. Can also take Electric moves intended for Gyara.
Weak: Resistant: + + Immune:

standard Celebi can't do anything to Jolteon and Shadow Ball does enough to it to scare it away... Unless someone decided to pack Earth Power on their Celebi Jolteon doens't Phear it. *Someone who packs Earth Power on his Celebi*

| I like x-scizzor over QA, no nned for to priority moves. unless you want to hit fighting types first. Although a standerd tentacruel could wall this then, and then when you switch into flygon, it may carry icebeam, so be careful about tentacruel. | |

Flygon revenges it no problem, and Swampert deals with it nicely. Tenta's not really a problem. 2 Priority is more for Gyara and Zapdos, although I do have things to deal with them, lol. @ST: True enough.

Now you have to give your helpful advice. This is just like that other guy who told us he'd made an amazing picture, and didn't post it! Seems like a very strong team. Can't really find any weaknesses. The thing that impresses me most about it is the effort you put into posting it here! I mean, all the pictures and stuff? It's so perty! :lol!:

| Oh, one thing I did notice - Scizor's EV's add up to 516 instead of 510. | |

Argh typo. Thanks for catching it. No prob. With you focusing so much on making it look awesome (job well done) there were always bound to be a typo or two.

| that looks great. Do you do the same presentation for evertime you do a "rate-my-team" thing? Cuz that would be a pain in the ass to set up a different one like that every time. | |

Not long, I have the template saved on my computer. Around 10-15 minutes to write it all out. @ch4rg3rs4lyf: Yes. It seems like a pain, but at most place making a RMT look and sound interesting is the first step to getting a lot of good rates. People want to see effort in RMTs. I'd be more attracted/inclined to rate a topic with effort put in than one without. @brawler12345: Right click the picture, go to "Properties" take the link there, copy it, and then paste it into google to find the site.
