Rate My OU Team!

Okay, so i decided that i actually need a main OU team to use. (insted of novalty teams) So, without further adieu, here it is:




ST the Arcanine@Choice Band

Nature: Jolly
Ability: Intimidate
Ev's: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP

Moveset:

Extreme Speed
Flare Blitz
Thunder Fang
Iron Head

Basically stole this from ST. Physical attacker RK9, with intimidate to hinder any leadgross/ leaddoctly and extreme speed is awesome!

Casper the Dusknoir@Leftovers

Nature: Impish
Ability: Pressure
Ev's: 252 HP / 28 Atk / 228 Def

Moveset:

Will-O-Wisp
Pain Split
Fire Punch
Ice Punch

Defensive tank, and one of my favorite pokemon. Will-O-wisp on the switch or pain-split and ice punch to counter any dragons that KO my mence.

Ruby the Tentacruel@Leftovers

Nature: Calm
Ability: LIquid Ooze
Ev's: 252 HP / 96 Def / 162 SpD

Moveset:

Toxic Spikes
Rapid Spin
Surf
Knock Off

Special defence support tentacruel. Main goal is to set up Toxic spikes and to rapid spin away all spikes/SR. Knock off is there to get rid of any Leftovers/ Life Orb users.

Wishii the Alakazam@ Choice Scarf

Nature: Modest
Ability: Synchronize
Ev's: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Moveset:

Phychic
Energy Ball
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast

I know most of you are thinking "What! Choice scarf! Alakazam already has like base 120 Speed!" Well i say that i like speed more than i do power. It is faster than a Modest Scarfed Gengar (which is my biggest threat) Energy ball is there to take down the ever annoying swampert. The rest of the moves are standard.

INTIMIDATE the Salamence@ Life Orb

Nature: Adamant? ( should i change to jolly?)
Ability: I think you can guess...
Ev's: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Moveset:

Dragon Dance
Outrage
Stone Edge
Earthquake

Standard DD mence. The only question is, should i change the nature to jolly?
I was also thinking about switching this for a DD Dnite. With the same everything as mence but with Fire Punch istead of Stone Edge. What do you think?

Nature: Timid
Ability: Volt Absorb
Ev's: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Moveset:

Signal Beam (?)
Shadow Ball
Thunder Bolt
Hidden Power (ice)

Basic specs jolteon. Hidden Power ice is my only real way of stopping any sort of dragon type. Signal Beam hits neutral on many pokemon,but i'm thinking of replacing it, but i don't know what to replace it with.

I think thats awesome, i know for a fact you would beat me anyway lol, but someone will probably have something to say about this lol.

Okay, so after some testing, i found out that any pokemon that gets to "set up" on me ( DD, CM ect...)basically sweeps my team, how doo i stop this?

Well I find that getting a "staller" pokemon helps with this. Get a guy with protect, toxic, shit like that in there. Also priority moves help alot against pokes that are sweeping. Try and set up toxic, use protect/detect and use your first priority moves to speed up the process. then there's the option of sending in a blissey/snorlax etc. and tanking the shizzat out of the sweeper. I'd go for the first option though, just cuz that's how I prefer to battle. However if it's a scizor sweeping or something like that you'd have to go with the latter option (toxic =/= steel).
