I can't choose!

Subject: I can't choose! Fri Jul 10, 2009 2:35 am

Okay so I just got like $20 so I can afford about one or two cds. The thing is I can't choose what album I should get! I'll just cut to the chase and give you my choices. You tell me which album you think i should get.

Green Day: American Idiot (if i get it I'll have ALL their albums)
The Who: Tommy
The Strokes: Is This It
The White Stripes: Elephant
The Sonics: Here Are The Sonics
The Network: Money Money 2020
The Hives: Your New Favorite Band

Just give me a straight answer and don't tell me to buy something else please.
It took me forever to narrow it down to these few albums and I haven't bought a cd in forever so it has to be one of these. thanks and if i get enough responses then I'll probably choose my album accordingly. :|

Green Day: American Idiot.

It is one of the best albums in recent years and I can't believe that anyone could own all the rest of their CD's and not this one - arguably the best of them all.

Please, just buy it.

probably elephant, i just think its a good album. american idiot's definitely not green days best album in my opinion, their new one is much better. stick with that.

Green Day American Idiot. That was one of the greatest albums I ever bought, well worth the money and nearly every track was listenable.

It's not that I haven't listened to it yet, I've listened to it too many times, I just don't own it yet, and in my opinion I think their new one, 21st Century Breakdown, is their best album. I was blown away by that album, before that came out my favorite was Nimrod.

I liked 21st Century Breakdown whilst everyone around me hated it, apart from people on here. I've gradually grown to love it more and more. It's still not taken over American Idiot though.

For the record I bought my CD's and I got the American Idiot album like most of you guys requested (Now I have a complete Green Day collection!) and I had a little left over so I bought that Strokes album I listed up there so yeah.........oh and I bought some really awesome soda pop........like the best freakin soda pop I've ever drank........anyway thanks for your opinions!

Well i really just bought the Green Day album to complete my collection, I've already listened to it more times than a healthy boy my age should probably listen to it before i bought the actual CD so i really just bought it to have it, but The Strokes album I bought was great! they are probably one of if not my favorite Garage Rock Band (them or The White Stripes). The album has a really scrappy "classic" or "new retro" sound to it that I gotta say i really love. One song on their called "Someday" sounds like it would be a Beatles song (which is always a good thing). All in all I'm satisfied and I didn't get to enjoy the whole soda cause my own personal mooch took it for herself and drank it while I was asleep haha.
