| These are challenges that you can do for any pokemon game that requires you playing through and collecting 8 badges and all that stuff, so basically gameboy and DS pokemon games. I will accept suggested cha;;enges if they are not too stupid. Feel free to challenge. Completing the game is simply beating the E4. Also, in all runs you can use up to 2 HM Slaves, and to challenge, you must post your team. Remember, don't forget to suggest challenges!
Speed Run Complete the game in the shortest amount of time possible. Challengers:
Solo Run Complete the game only using one pokemon, and you cannot let that pokemon evolve. Challengers:Amphy:Larvitar Amphy:Rattata
Unevolved Run Complete the game using as many pokes as you want, but no evolutions. Challengers:
Mono-Type Run Complete the game using pokemon of the same types. Challengers:Sparta Wolf-Type:Poison wayne8001123-Type:Dark SuperNova-Type:Grass kisamefishfry-Type:Grass
Same Move Run All team members you use must have at least one move in common, like all of them having surf. Challengers:
Gym Leader Run Play through the game using only the pokemon a specific gym leader uses. Challengers:
NuzLocke Mode You must catch and use the first pokemon you meet in each area(first pokes caught early in the can be replaced), after a pokemon faints you must release it ASAP, and you must have the battle mode as SET. Challengers:
High Scores:
Speed Run
Solo Run Dragon of Eternity:Whismur Dragon of Eternity:Chansey
Unevolved Run
Mono-Type Run
Same Move Run

| I suggest a Gym-Leader run, where you play through a certain game using all the Pokes a specific gym leader uses. For example, a Jasmine leader run, you'd play through using a Steelix and two magnemites, because that's what she uses. | |

| Look on my YT channel, I already have a Poison only run going, so I guess you can record that as a mono type challenge. | |

| There's the dreaded NuzLocke mode. 1. You must catch (and use) the first Pokémon you see in an area. So that's one Pokémon for each different route, city, cave and dungeon. 2. If a Pokémon faints, you must immediately (or as soon as possible) release it. 3. You must have battle mode set to SET. Although I believe this is optional. It's probably not the hardest challenge out there, but you'll probably end up using a Rattata or a Zigzagoon for the first part of the game, and that's no good. But it's good fun, and it makes you think about how long you normally spend looking for a Pokémon you want. I think the challenge was inspired from a website, which I have posted here: http://www.nuzlocke.com/If you want to take a stab at it - go for it. There aren't that many YouTube videos up yet, but still. It's been advertised on the website "The Escapist" and it's gotten a lot of positive feedback. But even so. Just my two pence. Or cents. Whatever. | |
