| Basically, I'm going to run a Pokemon Red and Blue Monotype Challenge. This basically means you go through the whole game only using one type. However, there will be rules. The Rules
- This is not a race.
- The run will be finished when you beat the Elite 4.
- You're allowed 3 HM Slaves as a maximum, but you are never allowed to use them in battle.
- No glitching or cheating at all.
- No legendaries allowed
- Having a Pokemon that will evolve into one of your types (e.g. you're allowed to pick Charmander in a flying type run, as Charmander evolves into a flying type)
- Your first pokemon of your type must be caught by the time you defeat Misty
Just post updates whenever you want to. I prefer making them after every battle. Chillax - Flying Curtisnt - Ground Dragon of Eternity - Poison EternalCelebi - Normal

| I'll give normal a try in blue. Just a heads up, im using 4 pokemon event hough its kinda cheap.
Edit: Nevermind. I cant play the red / blue games on the NDS emulator, and my VBA doesnt work, no matter how many times i download it. | |

| Update 1
- I started my journey, choosing Charmander and naming it Komodo.
- I went to Viridian, training Komodo up on the way as I completed the Parcel mission.
- I caught a Pidgey and named him Columbus. I trained both of my Pokemon up to level 12 and defeated Gary.
- I completed Viridian Forest and caught a Caterpie which I nicknamed Venomoth
- I trained all my Pokemon up to Level 13 (Venomoth evolved to a Butterfree) before defeating Brock.

| Nah, you can get Nidoran on Route 22 and Beedrill in Viridian Forest. | |

Water is definatly the easiest mono type to do. They learn ice moves, electric moves, and a lot of other good stuff.
I remember my team was Blastoise, Gyrados, Vaporeon, Poliwrath, and I woulda use a Cloyster, but it was hard to train Shellder up and it sucked. XD | |
