Kokaku no Regios(Chrome Shelled Regios)
SOS/FINAL'S ANIME REVIEW! ChromeShelledRegios

Chrome Shelled Regios takes place in the future in a polluted

world filled with giant insects like creatures called filth

monsters. Do to the massive widespread pollution, humans are

forced to live in mobile cities called Regios. The story revolves

around a Ex-Heaven's blade member name Layfon Alseif.

Without going into much detail and spoiling everything, most of

the story is about Layfon fighting with the 7th platoon trying to "escape" his past.

Chrome Shelled's story line had much potential and the fight

scenes were awesome BUT the over anime was so slow paced

that I sometimes got bored. The fight scenes were also way to

short for my liking. Another thing that I hated was that the

Heaven Blades had almost no screen time and the final battle

was only about 10 minutes long with BS added.

Overall a very enjoyable anime that was funny at times but did

lack in many places.

Kurokami

Kurokami is basically about two worlds the "Holy land" and earth.

Humans are plagued by something called The Doppeliner System.

The system works with three people having identical

bodies,minds and equal luck, when two of those doppeliners

meet they'll die, giving the remaining luck to the third

doppeliner. That third is called a Root. The story revolves

around a boy named Keita Ibuki meeting a

Mototsumitama(maintains the balance of the Doppeliner

System) named Kuro. Keita get's "killed" when he gets involved

in a fight between Kuro and Tribal Ends, Kuro saves him by

making a contract thus gaining power and defeating the Tribal

ends. The story then begins with Kuro trying to kill her brother

for killing her family/tribe but then it takes a turn.

There wasn't much of a story here and when there was it was

rushed. The beginning dragged a little but towards the end, it

was rushed beyond belief. The fight scenes were pretty good

until they started to copy and paste *Looks at Gundam Seed

Destiny*. There isn't much to be said about this anime, it's

one of those mindless beat down ones with mild humor and a

mild story line. The beginning was kind of boring but towards

the end it started getting pretty badass(minus the extreme

rush)

SOS/FINAL'S ANIME REVIEW! Maria-holic

The story centers on a sophomore named Kanako who is

allergic to men to the point of breaking out in hives any time

she comes in contact with one.

She enrolls in the same all girls school where her own parents

met, Ame no Kisaki, because she wants to find her destined

yuri (lesbian) partner. She meets a captivating freshman

named Mariya who fits her criteria — except her seemingly

ideal mate happens to be a cross-dressing sadistic boy.

The style that it was drawn in was pretty annoying for me

and the story was almost non-existant(this is a con and a pro).

Maria+Holic was also a bit slow paced which

made it hard to watch more than one episode per day.

Over all it was very funny and very fun to watch with moderation.

Sengoku Basara

SOS/FINAL'S ANIME REVIEW! Sengoku-basara

This anime came from a game called Sengoku Basara which

was very similiar to Dynasty Warriors but uses Japanese

heroes instead. The story involves numerous states battling

for land, this ends when Oda the Demon Lord, begins over

powering all other states and "plans to rule the world". The

states now must come together and beat the Demon Lord to

save this land.

I have to say this anime was pretty cool and manly. The story

doesn't have any BS in it and the fight scenes are amazing.

The only bad thing I have to say about this anime isn't really a

con, but I felt like the main characters have too much power.

So much so that if you got rid of all the soldiers in Sengoku

Basara nothing would change at all. The reason this isn't a real

con is because it's based off the game, and if you've played

Dynasty Warriors before you'd know that one player could take

over a territory....

Did I mention it was pretty hot blooded?
