First Pokemon?

Ok so in generations 1-3 it said Mew was the ancestor of ALL pokemon now Arceus comes and he is the god of ALL pokemon would anyone like to add their own opinion. :)

Definitely mew. Mew has the genetic material of supposedly all pokemon that ever existed. If that's the case, then mew is the first pokemon, then it created arceus and arceus became the god. Just because its the god pokemon, doesnt mean its the first one.

Eh. I say Mew because 4th gen decided to go crazy weird twilight zone status. I think Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Arceus are just not that great or as envied and have the prestige of Mew

Going by christianity, God created the first humans.

Therefore Acreus would have created Mew but for some reason it wasn't documented in the pokemon series.

But of course it is a matter of evolution VS creationism, plus it never mentioned humans in the pokemon games, unless Humans are a species of pokemon that have gained dominence O.O
