| There's no real strategy involved with this team other than knocking out the other Pokemon as quickly as possible. There could be more room for walls and Pokemon with moves like Stealth Rock, but until then I mostly have Pokemon with high speed and high attack/special attack.
If you can offer any advice, I would gladly take it.
EDIT: I changed my team around, and here's what it looks like now.
Aerodactyl @Focus Sash***Tempest Rock Head Jolly Nature 252 Atk | 6 Def | Speed: 252 Aerial Ace Rock Slide Earthquake Stealth Rock
Aerial Ace gives me type coverage as well as STAB. Stealth Rock has proven useful so far so I'm keeping it.
Jolteon @Life Ord ***Bolt Volt Absorb Timid Nature 252 Spd | 6 SpDef | 252 SpAtk ThunderBolt Hidden Power Grass Shadow Ball Charge Beam
This is good to switch into when Zabimaru is facing an electric type Pokemon. Plus is does decently on its own.
Weavile@Expert Belt***Hitokiri Pressure Jolly Nature 216 Spd | 40 HP | 252 Atk Swords Dance Night Slash Ice Shard Brick Break
Will the Azelf has failed me for the last time. So he got booted off in favor of Hitokiri. Next to Tempest, Hitokiri is the second fastest poke on the team.
Gengar@Choice Scarf***Ryuk Levitate Timid Nature 252 Spd | 6 SpDef | 252 SpAtk Trick Thunderbolt Shadowball Focus Blast
It's not all that different from what I had before, it's just that now I have Trick instead of hypnosis, the EVs are in SpDef instead of HP, and Ryuk is now holding Choice Scarf instead of Life Orb.
Gyarados@Leftovers***Zabimaru (Shiny) Intimidate Adamant Nature 252 Atk | 6 Def | 252 Spd Dragon Dance Waterfall Earthquake Ice Fang
The Moves remain the same due to the fact that I didn't really see any benefit to Bounce and Ice Fang gives Zabimaru more type coverage.
Infernape@Life Orb***Da Boot Technician Naive Nature 64 Atk | 252 SpAtk | 192 Spd Flamethrower GrassKnot Hidden Power Ice Close Combat
I Pinch the Scizor failed pretty hard in a recent battle, so he's getting Da Boot... Literally. Overall the type coverage on Da Boot is a lot better than I Pinch's was. Not only that, if I can surprise the opponent it could prove fatal. Not only that but Da Boot is faster than I Pinch as well. Which works well for my team.

| uuuummm heres some things first of all.
For a sweeping team, it's best to not have things like stealth rocks get set up on you.
I would suggest that aerodactyl hold focus sash Arial ace -> Taunt
and stealth rocks would help in case if any other pokes have sash so Ice fang -> stealth rock
and about rock slide vs. stone edge, I would suggest rock slide, it has better accuracy AND can flinch! But if you want more power, then choose stone edge
ohh azelf doesn't need stealth rocks now that dactyl does! He needs more super effective coverage, so how about Stealth rock -> Grass knot / Thunderbolt
oh and you have 5 immunities to ground. How about some poke that is weak to ground, but not much else. Heatran is a good idea!
Heatran @ Choice Scarf Flash Fire Nature: Naive (+Spe, -SpDef) EV: 4HP | 252 SpAtk | 252 Spe -Flamethrower -Earth Power -Explosion -Hidden Power Ice / Grass --- You may need some speed in an emergency, so this could get you out of trouble! This also blends in you team because you have so many pokes immune to ground. Also he works good with scizor and his fire weakness.
I would replace gengar, hypnosis ain't that great

If you can offer any advice, I would gladly take it.
Aerodactyl/Tempest Life Orb Jolly Pressure Evs: HP: 4 Atk: 252 Speed: 252 Aerial Ace Stone Edge Earthquake Ice Fang
For one, just use the standard format for displaying your team. I'll demonstrate it while giving you the Lead Aerodactyl standard team.
Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash***Tempest Rock Head Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SpAtk) 252 Atk | 6 Def | 252 Spd
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
There is a reason it's standard. Use it.
Zapdos/Raiden Leftovers Timid Evs: Hp: 4 SpAtk: 252 Spd: 252 Heat Wave Hidden Power Ice Thunderbolt Roost
If you're going to use a sweeper Dos, just use this:
Zapdos @ Life Orb***Raiden Pressure Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) 6 Def | 252 SpAtk | 252 Spd
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Roost/Charge Beam
However, you're using a lot of Stealth Rock weak Pokes for an offensive team, and you have no resists. I'd suggest Scarf Flygon:
Flygon @ Choice Scarf Levitate Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpAtk) 252 Atk | 6 Def | 252 Spd
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Stone Edge
With Flygon you have something to divert Rock, Electric, and Fire attacks to.
Or I'd suggest LO Charge Beam Jolteon:
Jolteon @ Life Orb Volt Absorb Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) 252 SpAtk | 6 SpDef | 252 Spd
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Charge Beam
This guy can heal his Life Orb wounds by absorbing Electric attacks that Target Gyarados. Only Magnezone resists it's 3 moves in OU.
Azelf/Will Leftovers Naive Evs: Atk: 4 SpAtk: 252 Spd: 252 Stealth Rock Explosion Fire Blast Psychic
Given the rest of your team, Physical Azelf would be a stronger addition that a non-boosting Special one. Plus Stealth Rock is meh on it. Try this:
Azelf @ Leftovers***Will Levitate Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SpAtk) 252 Atk | 6 Def | 252 Spd
- Zen Headbutt
- Fire Punch
- U-Turn
- Explosion
You get a much stronger Explosion, U-Turn an invaluable move for offensive teams, and another Scizor check. It's just good.
Gengar/Ryuk Life Orb Timid Evs: Hp: 4 SpAtk: 252 Spd: 252 Hypnosis Thunderbolt Shadowball Focus Blast
Hypnosis is meh on it, given the accuracy drop and Gengar's frailty. Try a TimidScarfGar:
Gengar @ Choice Scarf***Ryuk Levitate Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) 252 SpAtk | 6 SpDef | 252 Spd
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Trick
Using Trick can cripple walls and for sweepers into repeating set up moves. Is nice.
Gyarados/Zabimaru (Shiny) Leftovers Adamant Evs: Hp: 72 Atk: 252 Spd: 184 Dragon Dance Waterfall Earthquake Ice Fang
Adamant Gyarados has one major flaw. It is outsped by Jolteon even after 1 Dragon Dance. Gyarados also doesn't need Ice Fang since it hits things harder with Bounce anyway. Neutral Bounce does more damage that a Super Effective Ice Fang.
Gyarados @ Leftovers***Zabimaru Intimidate Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SpAtk) 252 Atk | 6 Def | 252 Spd
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Bounce
- Dragon Dance
Scizor/I Pinch Life Orb Adamant Evs: Hp: 32 Atk: 252 Spd: 224 Brick Break Bullet Punch Swords Dance X-Scissor
As for Scizor, I'd recommend Dual Priority SD Scizor:
Scizor @ Life Orb***I Pinch Technician Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpAtk) 252 HP | 252 Atk | 6 SpDef
- Bullet Punch
- Quick Attack
- Brick Beak/Superpower
- Swords Dance
Quick Attack is used to hit Scizor's usual counters, Gyarados, Zapdos, and Infernape, while Superpower hits Heatran, a major check of Scizor's, on the swap in if you predict it.

| Wow, that's some really sound advice, Tsutanai and Ciaran. I'll be sure to edit my team accordingly.
Thanks for helping a newb.
